French farmer visit
We showed a group of French farmers around the farm, concentrating on CTF and rotations with blackgrass management.
Holmer in Sweden
I popped over with cousin Michael to Sweden today to Malmo to see a Holmer sugar Beet Harvester for sale on a lovely farm. We ended up in Denmark in Copenhagen on a canal boat cruise and arrived back tonight. Three great meals in three different countries. Crops in Sweden and Denmark looked very good.
Pure horse muck
Clearing up after Fiona's horses, 6 trailer loads later, it's amazing how much they produce. We delivered some seasoned well rotted manure to the Dry Drayton allotment group to help grow the largest vegetables in the parish. Jason and Sammy did a great job.

Roguing blackgrass and ryegrass
Roguing blackgrass and rye grass to keep the wheats and barley clean.
We have a team in annually to come and rogue the combinable crops and the sugar beet. It's part of our fight against the spread of weeds. This is commonly done in seed crops but we are having it done across all the fields in the fens to prevent infestation. This is a costly job but hoping to be a long term solution.
Headland management is an area of concern.
