Fertiliser auger
We have purchased a stainless steel fertiliser auger made by canagro which graham at mark weatherheads has fitted to the rear of one of the lorries. This will enable us to move around 20 tonnes of fertiliser around for the spreader. We will be spreading TSP on a variable rate next week. The auger is powered by hydraulics and a spoil valve has been fitted to the rear of the spreader to allow the spreading tractor to power the auger.

New Sprayer arrives!
Our new Bateman RB55 with outcast unit, Trimble steering, auto section control, 5000 litre tank, 2" and 3" plumping, 50km/hr and must importantly in PX green. The old girl has been sold locally, and retiring to a quieter life.
Trimble are down tomorrow to calibrate and set us off. If it stops raining Chris will be fertilising and spraying tomorrow afternoon. Getting a new machine is like Christmas. Ailis says in the office I'm worse than a women with shoes.
